Immediate implantation and loading techniques have transformed the landscape of dental implantology, providing faster, predictable solutions for patients. This clinical case demonstrates the use of the MultiNeO™ Implant with Nano Hydrophilic Surface NiNA™ to restore both functionality and aesthetics in a 70-year-old female patient.

Overview

The patient, a 70-year-old female, presented at the clinic with functional and aesthetic concerns. Despite poor oral hygiene and a history of neglection, she sought a solution to regain confidence in her smile and chewing ability. A detailed treatment plan was created, including both upper and lower implants.

Treatment Workflow

  1. Treatment Plan: 6 implants in the maxilla due to low torque in one position. Digital planning and CBCT imaging ensured correct positioning of all implants.
  2. Implant Placement: MultiNeO™ Implants (D3.2 x L11.5 mm and D3.75 x L10 mm) featuring the NiNA™ Nano Hydrophilic Surface were placed immediately. The hydrophilic surface enhances osseointegration, allowing increased Bone to Implant Contact (BIC).

  3. Multi-Unit Abutments and Healing Caps: Six Multi-Unit abutments in the upper jaw and two healing caps in the lower jaw were used on the day of surgery. This setup prepared the foundation for immediate restoration while maintaining soft tissue integrity.
  4. Temporary Restoration: Three days post-surgery, a temporary screw-retained bridge was delivered, restoring immediate function and aesthetics on both jaws. This quick turnaround minimized discomfort and met the patient’s expectations for an efficient treatment solution.

  5. Final Restoration: A final restoration, consisting of a screw-retained bridge, was placed after 4-month. X-ray follow-up demonstrated excellent stability and bone adaptation around the implants.

Why MultiNeO™ and NiNA™?

The MultiNeO™ Implant, combined with the unique NiNA™ Nano Hydrophilic Surface, ensures safe success in immediate loading cases.

Key advantages include:

  • Primary Stability: MultiNeO™ implants deliver reliable results, even in cases with low bone density or torque due to it’s microgeometry.
  • Enhanced Osseointegration: The hydrophilic NiNA™ surface encourages faster bone cell attachment, improving implant biological stability.

Conclusion

This case exemplifies how modern implant solutions such as the MultiNeO™ with NiNA™ Surface deliver efficient, successful outcomes for immediate implantation and loading in immediate replacement situation. The combination of advanced technology with carful treatment planning, enables clinicians to address confidently complex cases
